Associate Professor
The program will be open to all students, both business or non-business, and will guide students through several fundamental courses to elevate their understanding of bank management and lead to a career path in banking.

Courses and Curriculum
Banking Minor Requirements
- 21 credits required for minor completion
- Students should meet with their academic advisor each semester and use to monitor their individual progress toward completion of the minor.
Students who complete the program will be able to:
- Discuss the importance of financial markets, financial services industry, and regulations.
- Describe the role of banks in an economy and basic principles of commercial bank management.
- Evaluate risk management techniques as applied to financial and non-financial entities.
- Analyze how to implement an integrated enterprise risk management (ERM) program that mitigates risks and maximizes value of the firm.
