The minor is often used by students who already have a major, and use economics minor to complement their own major; and/or further their education in economics with the aim of exploring the possibility of a major in economics or having the opportunity to pursue a further study or career in economics.

The Economics curriculum offers a systematic study of the economic activities of firms, households, and government. The core of the curriculum enables students to master basic principles of economics, develop analytical skills, and interpret economic phenomena.

Students interested in the Economics minor should consult their advisor for information on course requirements.
