International Students

  1. Submit Your Application

    Your first step is to complete our . This information is used to create a permanent record for each student. A non-refundable application fee of $35.00 (thirty-five USD) must be paid with a credit card at the time the online application is submitted.

    International applicants are students who are not U.S. citizens, nor hold a green card. International students may apply as a first-year, transfer, graduate, second degree, or as a visiting student.

    Spring Semester: November 15th

    Transfer Student Information

    • A college Grade Point Average (G.P.A.) of 2.5+ is preferred for most majors, but a G.P.A of 2.0 may be considered.
    • Students must submit official transcripts from all colleges attended. If you have completed fewer than 12 college credits, you must also send an official copy of your high school transcripts.
  2. Submit Your Transcripts

    For First-Year Students

    Submit official, English-translated copies of all secondary course work completed, including subjects listed and marks earned, secondary school certificates, diplomas and examination results from all secondary, post-secondary, and university and/or professional schools.

    Unofficial documents can be submitted during the application process. If submitted after submitting your application, please send a copy to internationaladmissions@commonwealthu.edu.  

    For Transfer Students

    Unofficial documents can be submitted during the application process for students submitting documents from institutions outside of the United States. If submitted after submitting the application, please send a copy to internationaladmissions@commonwealthu.edu.

    We reserve the right to ask for an official credential evaluation to be completed.

    For university coursework completed in the United States

    Official transcripts are required.  Below is our easy-to-use course equivalency table which allows students to view courses that have already transferred to 泡芙视频 from other colleges and universities.

    Credit Evaluation

    Your credits will be evaluated during the application process. Credits you鈥檝e earned at a two-year or four-year college will likely count at 泡芙视频, provided they meet the following criteria:

    • The college(s) you have earned credit from are regionally accredited.
    • You earned at least a 鈥淐."
    • If you completed an Associates in Arts or an Associates in Science degree from a Pennsylvania community college or you transfer from a Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) university, you could transfer in courses with grades a 鈥淒鈥 or higher.

    Evaluation Services

    We accept credential evaluation for course work completed outside of the United States from the following partners:


    Submission of a transcript from an institution of higher education from abroad choose "Course-by-Course Evaluation"

    To be considered "official," the evaluation must be sent directly to 泡芙视频 from the evaluation companies

  3. English Language Proficiency Scores

    All non-native speakers of English must submit an official language score report. To be considered "official," the scores must be sent directly from the sending examination body (TOEFL, IELTS, etc.)

    International students currently enrolled in a U.S. institution may not need to submit a language exam if they have successfully completed more than one semester of for-credit academic study.

    Applicants from the following countries do not need to submit an English proficiency exam score: American Samoa, Australia, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Canada (except Quebec), Dominica, Grenada, Grand Cayman, Ghana, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, Liberia, New Zealand, South Africa, Trinidad & Tobago, United Kingdom (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales), and U.S. Pacific Trust.

  4. Check Your Status

    You can check your admission status by logging in to your personalized Application Portal using the personal email address and password created when you originally applied. This portal allows you to upload missing application materials, register for events, connect with your admissions counselor, and complete your visa documentation if admitted.
